As the Senior Communications Specialist, I played a key role in supporting the successful modernization of the My Portal Platform to RHC Connect. This system modernization project aimed to enhance efficiency, scalability, security, and user experience by leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and industry best practices. The goal was to create a more reliable and agile system that meets current and future business needs while minimizing operational risks and reducing review response times.
I actively collaborated with project leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement a communication strategy that promoted user adoption, minimized disruption, and fostered stakeholder engagement. My efforts focused on translating complex technical changes into clear, accessible information for a diverse audience.
My Contributions
Creating Comprehensive User Guides: I worked with subject matter experts to developed detailed, user-friendly guides to help stakeholders understand and navigate the new system, ensuring a smooth transition from the previous platform.
Designing and Hosting Interactive Webinar Trainings: To enhance user experience and engagement, I organized and facilitated live webinars that provided hands-on training and addressed user questions in real time.
Developing New Web Pages: I designed dedicated web pages that centralized project resources, including FAQs, training materials, and quick-reference guides, providing stakeholders with easy access to valuable information.
Crafting Informative Newsletters: I composed regular newsletters to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, system benefits, key milestones, and critical updates, fostering transparency and maintaining enthusiasm throughout the transition.

A significant aspect of my role was to ease the transition to RHC Connect and ensure that stakeholders felt confident navigating the new system. By using a variety of communication channels and techniques, I helped create a positive user experience and promoted long-term adoption of the modernized platform.
