Hey there! I’m Simone A. Lewis, a communications and tech enthusiast who loves all things digital strategy, storytelling, and project/change management. Raised in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve spent over a decade fine-tuning my skills in strategic communications, digital engagement, and making complex ideas simple and engaging.
By day, I’m a Senior Communications Specialist at the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), where I craft compelling messaging, manage digital platforms, and keep stakeholders in the loop. I’ve also led major initiatives, like transitioning government agencies to remote operations and rolling out virtual hearings—because who doesn’t love a good digital transformation challenge?
I’m a proud graduate of Savannah State University (BA in Mass Communications) and American University (MA in Broadcast Journalism/Public Affairs). My passion for impactful communication extends beyond work—I served as the Technology Committee Chair for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from 2021 to 2023, helping to enhance digital engagement and innovation.
When I’m not working, you can find me leading step aerobics classes (yes, I’ll get you moving!), spending time with my amazing husband, Jamal, or exploring creative ways to fuse technology with storytelling.
